This photo refers to the flood of 1937. The embankments were almost completely completed and, at the height of our hou- se, they do their job very well!
THE FLOODS OF THE TIBER
Unfortunately, a few hundred meters later, the same cannot be said. The Tiber has overflowed and we are at the height of the San Michele Institute just before Porta Portese.
